He who pursues righteousness and loyalty Finds life, righteousness and honor.

Reasons Why…

I wanted to share a little about what has been happening in my life and the changes that have been taking place on my blog.

I'm now set up on my theme and design. I love that my daughter, 15-almost 16yr, has wanted to help me. It has been a task, I didn't want to look like everyone else's blog. Not that your blogs are not appealing, I'm one of those people that has to be different. Have you seen Mama Kat's new digs?! It is BOLD, like her. I occasionally participate in her writing prompts, sometimes they just don't fit me.

I’m Sure This is Really Old News, but…

I have to admit, this was bound to happen. I am guilty of way too much multi-tasking, but OMGosh!

The "Tweeter" in question, thought they were tweeting on their personal account. This persons "job" was to do tweets for @Chrysler. You can read two articles about this HERE and HERE. Why tweet this in the first place? I just don't see the point.

I'm no expert with this kind of thing, though it does seem to me, aren't you supposed to turn off the personal when working or vise versa? I have no idea why someone would tweet something like that to begin with. Wouldn't that be for a DM to a friend?

I've seen the #wineparty tweeters and the upper echelon blogger tweeting about her 2nd glass of wine and how crazy of a kid day she had.

HELLO! Are we that much of a "social" maven? What are we trying to prove? period. How "funny" you are?

Ok, nuf said!

100% my opinion!

OK, Are You Tired Of Hearing It?

I've been trying to decide all day, do I post or not. Well this will be a very different tone than you may have heard.

I am looking forward to the chance to make another year better than the last.
I'm not going to tell you all the fabulous things I will promise you and me to do.
I do have some ideas that I hope you will like.
I do plan to keep blogging and hope to enrich your day.
I do plan to work on my bible study blog. Share the Bible with MusingMom
I do plan to write more on my spiritual blog. Just Another Day In Paradise
I don't have a bunch of lofty goals.
I do plan to work on my organization and family motto.
I do plan to accept that my oldest may be getting married sooner than I thought.
I do plan to keep being the same caring, hopeful woman I have always been.

I hope you join me in my new year of life. What about you? Any thoughts on what you are going to be doing this new year?

What Does That Mean? “fill in the blank” Will Change Your Life!

Why do people have this misconception? What is it? Is there an ingrained need to screw with someone's head?

Statue of Confucius on Chongming Island in Sha...Image via Wikipedia

Your life will change...

* when that baby arrives.
* when you graduate.
* when you get married.
* when you move away from home.
* when the next baby arrives.

The list goes on. Do people that say this not realize when you inhale, your life changes? Every moment on any given day, anything happens, it is all life changing. No matter what it is, actions produce a reaction. It is the principle of action - reaction. The problem is whether you try to be negative or positive. There are people that will use this to push for their chance to control you.

* If this happens...I won't ______.
* I won't help you.
* I won't stay.
* I won't do _____.

I just don't get it! If both people in a conversation are acting on being positive (action) and both respond with positive responses (reaction) The out come is GOOD. When you have the opposite and both are negative, or one is positive and one negative, this is where the discrepancy comes.

I don't think we have to think alike or all people should be controlled by a falsely appearing positive. Ask yourself the next time you get ready to respond with that statement, what are you trying to get across to the other person? If it is an opportunity to hurt someone for your own gain, you might want to ask yourself...Am I a selfish person or am I trying to live my faith of Doing To Others How You Would Have Done To You.

We are human beings made up of certain physiology. Environment around us influence our emotions, emotional change bring about chemical changes within us. These changes will work positively for us, if we for example are happy and negatively if we are angry. A developed emotional intelligence will direct us towards a positive course. It’s an ability to identify, use, understand and manage your emotions in a very constructive way. Read more:

It is truly baffling, they don't even realize their responses are proof of their lack of true intelligence.

Life changes everyday, I don't like to hear people say that to anyone.

Life is an ever changing, ever evolving set of experiences.

Fully Alive

I enjoyed watching "Little House on the Prairie" as a girl. I read Melissa Gilbert's autobiography a few months ago. She had this poem at the beginning of the book, it is sooo inspirational.
"Fully Alive"
Dawna Markova
I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
Of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
To allow my living to open me,
To make me less afraid.
More accessible,
To loosen my heart
Until it becomes a wing,
A torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
To live so that which came to me as seed goes to the next as blossom
And that which came to me as blossom,
Goes on as fruit.

Truth

i've made mistakes in my life.

i've let people take advantage of me and i accepted way less than i deserve.
but i've learned from my bad choices and even though there are some things i can never get back and people who will never be sorry,
i'll know better next time and i won't settle for anything less than i deserve.

A Poem of Hope

HOPE

You can not ignore what is in front of your face.
We all have to learn at our own pace.
Acceptance and growth are needed to obtain God’s saving grace.
We all are called, He only asks us to move at our own pace,
So that we may meet Him in heaven and gaze upon His loving face.
