Our son is very intelligent and has the possibility to succeed in a career wit
h a colllege diploma. Tell me that a D is OK and not to be concerned about, when the child can make second runner up in the classroom spelling bee!!

We are deciding Thursday about moving the 2 boys to another local school. I am at the point that something has to change. He will have an opportunity to be paired with peers that will give him an opportunity to make friends. I have a feeling that the "favorite" kids or the principal's friends kids won't be allowed to bully him.

Ok, I think my vent is through.

Autism Case Conference and IEP

Well, we the parents made a step forward in helping our son Friday. Some of the school staff have had a very bad attitude about our son for sometime. The lack of cooperation in testing him appropriately has had some negative effects on his being accepted by his classmates. This child is very self aware and has developed low self-esteem due to the poor treatment and being so misunderstood. I do so hope that the positive direction continues to move forward so he can succeed and thrive.
