Merry Christmas

And Happy Holidays!

Jesus was born in a stable. His parents made the best of a bad situation and provided what was needed to their child.

Little did they know people would flock to the stable to see the new born babe.

My all time favorite Christmas show is The Little Drummer Boy. It is a real remember that the gift of self is the only thing we really need to give to each other.

Our children need parents that are present to them. Our spouses need us to be present to us. Why? Why is being present more important than any thing else? Because we need to feel accepted.

Being in a world that puts so much attention and importance on things can be a very lonely place. Acceptance is being real.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

The Little Star” Book Review

I'm so excited to be sharing this with you!

Little Star
The book is a wonderful addition to any Christmas collection.
Anthony DeStephano, is the author of the adult best-sellers A Travel Guide to Heaven, and Ten Prayers God Always Says Yes To. This Little Prayer of Mine, a children’s book, was published earlier this year. But Little Star was his first book, written as an assignment for Angela’s Ashes author McCourt when DeStefano was a student at Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan.

Little Star is a very simple retelling of the Nativity story which focuses on the star of Bethlehem—the smallest star in the heavens—who burns himself out to keep the newborn baby Jesus warm in a Bethlehem stable. His goal was met by the whole gospel message in a simple Christmas story, and to do so in a way that all kids could relate to.

I'm Including a YouTube video reading of the story by Pat Boone.
This beautiful storybook will be given away to one lucky person.
It will be a wonderful Christmas gift or added to your Christmas story collection.

Upon reading this story, I found it to be right up there with
my all time favorite Christmas story, "The Little Drummer Boy".
The Little Drummer Boy
Our younger three kids, 12yr,10 yr, 8yr and our 2yr grand daughter liked the story. I've had them read to each other and they have had quite a bit of enjoyment in the moral of the story. The illustrations are very well done and follow the story w
ell. I'm happy to add this to our Christmas book collection.
