Perception vs Reality

Just Thinking Out Loud...

I have often wondered, if one persons perception is their reality. How can the world find peace?

For then wouldn't my reality of peace be different from your own? Then we would always be in a "tug of war" to fulfill the reality of our own perception of peace?

This can be seen in politics and news. In the religious stands. In the streets where crimes are committed. In the schools where the bullies hide.

I do not believe that the answer is easy. Not many people are willing to leave the confines of their perceptions.

    I agree. I do not think that full world peace is pos­si­ble because we are human and every­one has their own mind. I think the best we can hope for is that peo­ple start treat­ing oth­ers the way they want to be treated. And really hope that peo­ple want to be treated nicely!
